Welcome to the first official Vicious Stickers blog!
We recently returned from the launch of our new sticker line at the Portland Tattoo Expo in October. We spent 3 days meeting new people and promoting our business. There was a wide variety of colorful characters there, we made some new friends and got to check in with some old ones. The sticker line was well received and we made some great connections and got lots of feedback that is invaluable to a new business venture.
We arrived Thursday afternoon to start setting up our rockin' booth and get a sense of the Expo which had over 400 artists and vendors.
The show started Friday at noon and went thru Sunday at 6pm. The show traffic was busiest Saturday afternoon and we spent the day moving some product and sipping Microbrews. Standing and schmoozing for 12 hours a day started to take it's toll, but we had a blast.
We had a visit from LA Ink's Corey Miller, who we had met at the Oregon Ink Tattoo show in May, where he sat in with my band at the official after party for the tattoo artists.
We'd like to thank Kevin and Brandon from Ink Junkie magazine for all their help in making our launch a success.
We'll be at the second annual Oregon Ink Tattoo Convention in Eugene on May 7-9, 2010 to get our name out locally and party with our friends! Hope to see you there~
